About Us

We believe that the best education and care is provided to children when all parties work together in an accountable, ethical, collaborative and co-operative way.

All decisions are made for the best interest of the child. There are three key fundamentals that are at the forefront of this: Opportunity, Accountability, and Integrity. We uphold Early Childhood Australia’s Code of Ethics and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. A quality education and care is achieved by implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).

Children have a strong sense of identity & wellbeing. We believe respect for each child and their family is paramount and is expressed through listening, observing, and interacting with families. We recognise that the family is the child’s first and most important teacher. Parents are viewed as partners, collaborators, and advocates for their children.

Children are effective communicators and are connected with and contribute to their world. We recognise and value the relationships children have with Family Day Care Educators. Passionate and resourceful educators are essential to providing learning environments that are inclusive and respectful to all. Our educators are seen as role models who have their own personal philosophies and ideas, supporting each individual child, and providing the best possible outcomes for children.

Children are confident and involved learners. We believe in providing children with an educational program that supports both group and individual needs, as experience has shown that children learn and develop best when exploring their world through stimulating and challenging play.

We aim to provide programs that include a combination of adult-led and child-initiated experiences, as we believe that children should have input into the experiences that are provided for them. We believe in fostering children to develop a love and curiosity for all aspects of our natural environment.

We are committed to our continued professional development and being actively involved in the quality improvement process.
